Board Members
Jack Walker is a retired music educator from London, Kentucky. During his 30-year
career, he taught band in Fayette County, Hazard, and Laurel County.
He also served as interim director at Danville High School and Nicolet
High School in Glendale, Wisconsin. Mr. Walker has served in several
state offices of KMEA. He is active as an adjudicator, conductor and
clinician, as well as participating in local musical organizations
in the London area. During the summer, he and J. Larry Moore serve
as education directors at Lion’s Camp Crescendo. He is the recipient
of the 2006 KMEA Distinguished Service Award. He is the director of
the London Community Orchestra. He is a graduate of Georgetown College.
